I want to take a moment to talk to you about The Moery Company and the Indy 500.
The story begins in the early 70s. At that time, The Moery Company was my family’s dirt construction company. I’m so proud of it. It’s where I got my first job sweeping the floors and I probably didn’t do a very good job of it.
We sponsored a race car at that time. It was a great time and I learned about racing, hard work, and the pride of being affiliated with something like this and winning. I really learned a lot from it. At the same time, we were huge fans of the pinnacle, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Indy 500. At that time, we couldn’t even watch it live on TV, we listened to it on the radio. I encourage you to listen to the Indy 500 on the radio because it’s one of the greatest sports broadcasts you’ll ever hear, year after year.
It was a dream of mine to sponsor a team one day and the dream felt very far away.
Fast forward to now.
The Moery Company of today is a sponsor of the number 18 Vasser-Sullivan racing car at the Indy 500. It’s an incredible source of pride. It’s great for our company to be sponsoring the car and be aligned with excellence, with speed, with grit, and with determination on the greatest sports pinnacle of all time. The greatest spectacle in racing.
The Moery Company, from the dirt tracks in Oklahoma now to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. I hope you’ll join us in celebrating this unique American event and give a little extra cheer for the number 18 and The Moery Company sponsored Vasser-Sullivan car.
Hope to see you soon. Hope to see you at the track and I hope you enjoy the Indy 500.
